Although still a bit
too warm and
too sticky, I
delight in the longer shadows that
awaken the day.
The sun is more golden.
The trees whisper
through older, more brittle
leaves.
But the air seems fresher. And
perhaps
the rhythm of the
school year –
the beat to which so many
dance –
reminds us…
September
offers a new
beginning.
